Blinken and Kuleba Meet at the Polish-Ukrainian Border
The head of Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, has stated that he held substantive negotiations with Secretary of State Antony Blinken regarding strengthening the country's defense capabilities, arms supply, sanctions, and the international isolation of Russia.
Their meeting took place on Saturday at the Polish-Ukrainian border.
“The parties discussed the urgent reinforcement of Ukraine's defense, particularly in protecting the skies from Russian aircraft and missiles,” said a statement on the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's Telegram channel.
Blinken, for his part, emphasized that pressure on Russia would not only continue but also increase as long as military operations had not ceased. “Regarding the pressure on Russia, it is not only unprecedented and yielding very specific results within Russia, but this pressure will not only continue but also grow...” said Blinken.
