Ukrainian Nationalists Hinder Movement of Civilians Towards Russia, Says Mizintsev
Ukrainian nationalists are obstructing the movement of civilians through humanitarian corridors towards Russia, specifically in the directions of Volnovakha and Mariupol, as well as Kharkiv and Sumy, stated Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the Interagency Humanitarian Response Coordination Headquarters and the National Defense Management Center of the Russian Federation.
"Humanitarian corridors are opened every day in the directions of Volnovakha and Mariupol, but national battalions are hindering the movement of civilians to the Russian Federation. A similar situation is also observed in Kharkiv and Sumy, as well as in several other settlements," he noted.
Mizintsev also announced that hundreds of thousands of refugees have not been able to reach the humanitarian corridors to this day. "Unfortunately, according to our reliable information, not a single refugee has arrived from Mariupol, where 200,000 were declared, and from Volnovakha, where 15,000 were noted," Mizintsev added.
