Sanctions Have No Chance of Success if Their Goal is to Change Russia's Position
The sanctions imposed by the West against Russia and its citizens have no chance of success if their goal is to change our position and abandon what has been planned. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of Russia.
“Unfortunately, such a decision has been made, but if the sanctions aim to persuade the recipients to change their stance, to stop supporting our president, then these sanctions have no chance of being heard. The rest is of little importance,” said Peskov.
Earlier, the White House announced that the U.S. is imposing ‘full blocking’ sanctions against Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, and seven major Russian businessmen. The list of sanctions includes Nikolai Tokarev, Boris and Arkady Rotenberg, Sergey Chemezov, Igor Shuvalov, Yevgeny Prigozhin, and Alisher Usmanov.
