Door of Passenger-Filled 'Gazelle' Detaches in Yerevan
Today, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan when the door of a minibus serving route number 33 detached while transporting passengers.
Facebook user Arpi Hakobyan reported the incident on her page, also tagging the city hall's page and the spokesman of the mayor. She wrote: "In the morning, when everyone is rushing to work, the door of the 'GAZEL' detaches and we all have to get off and wait for another minibus. It was in such bad condition that it wouldn't even open fully, and I don't rule out that it could have detached while in motion. I've encountered this issue before; I lightly closed the door when getting off, but it detached and fell! Harut Hakobyan, when will these unfit 'GAZEL' buses be taken out of service? Not to mention that people are standing on one foot and barely hanging on."
