VIDEO: Lyova Gevorgyan Leaves No Chances for Azerbaijani Wrestler and Advances to Youth World Championships Final

In the ongoing Youth World Championships in Ufa, Russia, Armenia's Lyova Gevorgyan, competing in the 125 kg weight category, has advanced to the finals. The European youth champion faced Azerbaijan's Aydin Ahmadov in the semifinals and achieved victory with a score of 10-0.

Gevorgyan had previously defeated the same opponent 11-0 at the European Youth Championships. In the final, he will meet Ali Akbarpurkhordooni from Iran.

Lyova began his journey in the qualifying round, where he secured a 10-0 victory over Hungary's Csaba Ubornyaki, and then continued to excel in the quarterfinals against Indian wrestler Kumar Anirudh, winning 4-0.

In the 61 kg category, Levik Mikayelyan lost in the semifinals to an athlete from India and will compete for the bronze medal.
