Fantastic Victory: Armenian Athlete Knocks Out Turkish Rival Twice

In the junior boxing European Championship taking place in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 63 kg weight class athlete Arghisti Hakobyan celebrated a beautiful victory against Turkish competitor Omar Serini. This information was provided by the Armenian Boxing Federation.

“The Armenian athlete knocked down his Turkish rival twice, after which the referees stopped the fight,” the statement said.

Thus, Armenia has secured at least 10 bronze medals at the European Championship. In the quarter-finals, victories were achieved, and semi-finals were reached by Vahagn Galstyan in the 42 kg weight class, Spartak Nahapetyan in the 50 kg weight class, and Karen Petrosyan in the 80 kg weight class.

Overall, 274 athletes from 25 countries are participating in the championship.
