Zelensky Believes Moscow Threatens the Entire Continent

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the "aggression of the Russian Federation" aims to slow down the movement of Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova towards European integration. This was reported by the newspaper "Kommersant."

Zelensky stated that Moscow poses a threat to the "entire continent." The Ukrainian president noted that the European Union must demonstrate a clear vision for its closest partners at the Eastern Partnership summit scheduled for December; otherwise, he cannot understand its appropriateness.

"If Brussels does not provide ironclad support for the European aspirations of our 3 countries, then someone will demonstrate their iron muscles near the borders of our 3 states. And this, in my opinion, is a threat not only to our 3 countries but to the entire continent," Zelensky remarked at an international conference in Batumi, attended by leaders of the "associated trio" (Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine).

The Ukrainian president also mentioned that he does not understand why "the voice of Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova is not heard today at the conference on the future of Europe."

"Are they not part of its future? In my opinion, if one of the countries is not important for the future of Europe, then it is not a future Europe," the head of state added.
