This directive was issued by Romanos Petrosyan to the directors of state organizations and heads of forest committees, considering the illegal tree felling observed in the territory of the "Arpi Lake" National Park.
The Ministry of Environment's announcement is presented below: "Based on the recent report from the Prosecutor General's Office regarding incidents of illegal tree cutting in the territory of the 'Arpi Lake' National Park, Acting Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan has instructed the directors of state organizations responsible for managing specially protected natural areas, as well as the acting president of the Forest Committee, to establish strict monitoring and to be extremely diligent in documenting and preventing forest violations occurring in forests and specially protected natural areas."
"For every logged incident, detailed information about the location, scale, and the responsible person overseeing protection should be submitted. If the offender is not identified, a detailed explanation of the reason should be provided. The Ministry of Environment urges and calls upon citizens to be more attentive and caring towards the environment, emphasizing the importance of preserving the integrity of nature."
