“Please send us home,” Armenian captive to Baku court
Vladimir Hakobyan, who was captured by Azerbaijani soldiers after the war, has asked the Baku court to send them all home. This information has been reported by Azerbaijani media.
During today's hearing, the judge asked if they had any requests regarding the case, to which Vladimir Hakobyan replied, “Please send us home.”
It is noteworthy that on the defendant's bench are Armenian servicemen captured in the Khtsaberd area, who are accused of terrorism and illegal border crossing. All servicemen captured from Khtsaberd are from the Shirak province. They were taken captive on December 16, following the acceptance of the trilateral statement on November 9.
