Citizen Arrested for Chanting 'Nikol, Traitor!' at Rally, Says Ruben Melikyan
A citizen has been arrested for chanting "Nikol, Traitor!" at a rally of the capitulator. This was reported by Ruben Melikyan, co-founder of the NGO "Legal Way," on his Facebook page.
He specifically noted, "As far as I understand, the arrest was made based on a recently adopted obviously unconstitutional article criminalizing 'obstructing the campaign' by the My Step faction. Unfortunately, the so-called 'opposition' in parliament didn't appeal to the Constitutional Court in time, and that article still formally 'lives' on. Because of this, a specific individual is currently deprived of their freedom for exercising their freedom of speech," he wrote.
Auroranews is attempting to verify the information with police officials, but our calls have gone unanswered.
