Vstrichi Apen Released from Custody
According to Hraparak.am, Aram Vardanyan, who is considered a criminal authority known as Vstrichi Apen, has recently been released from custody.
The Prosecutor's Office has confirmed the website's information, stating that Vardanyan was released on May 3 on bail.
"The first instance court, which is essentially reviewing the case, has granted the defense's motion. The Prosecutor's Office has filed an appeal against this decision today," the Prosecutor's Office reported.
It is noteworthy that Vardanyan was previously released in January on a bail of 75 million drams. Following an appeal by the Prosecutor's Office against the first instance court's decision, the appeal was accepted, leading to his re-arrest.
Aram Vardanyan is accused of providing false information to the civil status registration bodies, document forgery, extortion, and money laundering. The court is examining this case in a closed hearing.
