Five People Killed by Tornado in Alabama, USA

Five people have died as a result of a tornado in Alabama, USA, according to reports from TASS.

More than 20,000 residents in the state have been left without electricity. Approximately 50 buildings have collapsed in Birmingham, the largest city in the state.

Local authorities and utility companies are continuing to assess the damage caused by the tornado. Earlier, the National Weather Service had warned about the dangerous conditions expected in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
