Expert Predicts Turkish 'Bayraktars' Attack on Donbas

Military expert Igor Korotchenko has predicted the attack by Turkish 'Bayraktar' strike drones on the Donbas in the event of war. His comments were quoted by 'MK.'

“In recent months, we have been seeing an intensification of Ukrainian military efforts. They are studying the experience of military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh very carefully. The General Staff of Ukraine is particularly interested in the successful application of strike drones,” the expert stated.

Korotchenko does not believe the intensification of communications between Ukraine and Turkey is coincidental. In his opinion, Kyiv intends to purchase strike 'Bayraktar' drones from Ankara and subsequently establish production of these drones within the country.

Korotchenko believes that Ukrainian military personnel, who have trained as drone operators, will actively use Bayraktars in the event of new battles in Donbas.
