We Urge Ruben Hayrapetyan to Publish the Court Ruling in Full
We urge Ruben Hayrapetyan to publish the appellate court ruling in its entirety, rather than with self-initiated reductions. This was stated by Armen Grigoryan, acting rector of the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE).
The statement reads, in particular:
“Dear colleagues, I would like to inform you that the Armenian Court of Appeal, presided over by Judge K. Hambartsumyan, today released the ruling concerning the appellate complaint filed by Ruben Hayrapetyan's representative, Jenya Minasyan, against the decision of the First Instance Court of Yerevan dated July 16, 2020. The appellate court rejected the appeal brought by J. Minasyan on behalf of R. Hayrapetyan.”
“The distorted interpretations of the appellate court's ruling, based on personal preferences and tastes, are absolute misinformation aimed at manipulating and casting a shadow over the entirely legal process of the rector's election of the Armenian State University of Economics.”
“We urge the mass media not to disseminate misinformation provided by others. After the full ruling is published on Datalex.am, we will share it as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, we urge Ruben Hayrapetyan to publish the appellate court ruling IN FULL and not with self-initiated reductions.”
