The safety assurance of Armenian agro-industrial products imported into Russia and compliance with mandatory requirements are the conditions for the restoration of supplies to the Russian market. This was stated by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture following a meeting between the ministry's head, Oksana Luty, and Armenia's Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan.

The meeting took place in Almaty during the 7th session of the Eurasian Economic Union's agro-industrial policy council.

The Russian Ministry of Agriculture has announced that supplies of agricultural products from Armenia can be resumed if product safety is ensured, pesticide use is controlled, Armenian producers use their own raw materials, and full traceability of supplies is guaranteed.

Previously, the Armenian Ministry of Economy reported that Minister Gevorg Papoyan participated in the seventh session of the Eurasian Economic Union's agro-industrial policy council in Almaty.
