‘Desperate Situation’: 28 Lemonade Productions Suspended in Armenia - SANITARY INSPECTION

Aurora News spoke with the spokesperson of the Food Safety Inspection Body to find out why the lemonade productions have been suspended.

“Currently, inspections are underway at all lemonade productions throughout Armenia. It’s a desperate situation,” stated the SANITARY INSPECTION spokesperson.

The inspections started around 1-2 weeks ago. At this time, facilities in the regions are being inspected, while inspections in Yerevan have not yet been conducted.

The SANITARY INSPECTION also noted that there have been no resolutions regarding the suspensions of the operations, meaning that the identified issues have not yet been resolved.

According to data published by the SANITARY INSPECTION, the activities of 28 lemonade productions have been suspended during this period. The SANITARY INSPECTION emphasizes that inspections are still ongoing throughout Armenia, and there are currently no decisions regarding the lifting of suspensions.
