Police Urges to Follow Official Information Regarding the Incident in Gavar: We Await Updates
As previously reported, gunshots were heard yesterday on Azatutyun Street in Gavar, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and the hospitalization of four citizens.
The injured individuals included two who were at the Gavar hospital, but they were later involved in a confrontation. People stormed into the hospital, breaking through the police cordon to confront them. According to circulating reports, Police Chief Arman Sargsyan was also present at the scene.
Following the incident, the police released a statement indicating that Police Chief Arman Sargsyan was not in the vicinity of the hospital during the storming incident. However, shortly thereafter, that statement was deleted.

In response to all of our inquiries, the head of the police's public relations and information department, Zarzand Gabrielyan, stated that official information would be provided. It is still unclear when this announcement will occur.
