Collision of Four Vehicles at the Intersection of Gay Street and Lviv Street: Injuries Reported
On March 19, at 20:43, the Crisis Management National Center received a report of a traffic accident at the intersection of Gay Street and Lviv Street in Yerevan, involving four vehicles. There are reported injuries, according to the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
A team from the fire and rescue unit of the Emergency Situations Ministry's Yerevan Rescue Department was dispatched to the scene. It was found that the vehicles involved in the collision were an Opel Astra (driver: Yuri M., born in 1994), a Toyota Camry (driver: Edik H., born in 1995), a Mercedes S600 (driver: Karen Gh., born in 1995), and a Mazda (driver: Hayk H., born in 1988).
The driver of the Toyota Camry was taken by local authorities to Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center, while a passenger in the Opel Astra, Nina P. (born in 1996), was hospitalized via ambulance.
Rescuers have shut off the gas tank valve of the Opel Astra and disconnected the power to both the Opel Astra and the Toyota Camry.
