30 More Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Armenia; Total Cases Rise to 190
As of March 22 at 10:00 AM, an additional 30 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Armenia. This was reported by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia. In total, the number of confirmed cases has reached 190.
It is worth noting that as of March 21, there were 160 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Armenia. To date, 2 citizens have recovered.
Among the infected individuals, 11 are experiencing pneumonia, and 3 patients are in intensive care; however, their lives are not in danger.
Due to the increase in confirmed cases, the Nork Infectious Diseases Hospital is no longer the only facility where citizens are receiving treatment; there are approximately 5 healthcare institutions involved, and there are isolated patients in two regional medical facilities as well.
Of the 136 confirmed cases of infection, 112 are linked to two primary cases.
It is important to recall that due to the outbreak, a state of emergency has been declared in the country from March 16 until April 14.
