Levon Aronian's Wife Injured in Car Accident in Yerevan, Doctors Fight for Her Life
A major traffic accident occurred in Yerevan on March 14. Around 11:50 PM, the driver of a Lexus vehicle with license plate 34 RT 921 collided with a concrete support of the well-known "Three Angle" bridge under still unknown circumstances.
According to Shamshyan.com, emergency services quickly arrived at the scene, including a firefighting and rescue squad from the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Special rescue teams carried out operations for almost an hour, using specialized equipment to extract the driver from the vehicle.
The emergency medical team from Yerevan also acted promptly, providing first aid at the scene before transporting the injured individual to the "Astghik" Medical Center.
Preparations are being made regarding the incident. A photojournalist reported that a service ID was found inside the vehicle, registered to Arianna Kauli. According to sources, the injured person is none other than Arianna Kauli, the wife of Armenia's leading grandmaster and FIDE World Cup winner Levon Aronian.
Under the investigator’s instructions, the vehicle was towed to a designated area managed by the traffic police in Yerevan.
