An Investigation Has Been Launched to Find the Source of COVID-19 Treatment Claims
The Healthcare and Labor Inspection Body of Armenia has launched an investigation to locate the individual spreading claims about a treatment for COVID-19 on the internet. This was announced during a press conference by the head of the inspection body, Hakob Avagyan.
“One should not give in to the statements circulating on the internet regarding a treatment for COVID-19. Our information department has prepared a report on this matter, and we have now initiated proceedings to find the person advertising such medications,” Avagyan stated.
He added that the medication has caused confusion among people regarding its name and characteristics. The medication regulation department is handling this issue.
“I hope we will quickly find the individual responsible for spreading this information, and such phenomena will be eliminated within the framework of our investigations,” Avagyan concluded.
