14-Year-Old Boy Hangs Himself in Gyumri: He is the Grandson of a Former High-Ranking Official

A 14-year-old boy has hanged himself in a residential apartment on Tigran Mets Street in Gyumri. He committed suicide in his grandfather's house, which was uninhabited. His father discovered him hanging. This information was reported by Aravot.am.

According to the website, the boy is the grandson of Chilingaryan, who served as the head of the trade department in the Gyumri city hall during Vardan Ghukasian's tenure. His grandmother, Gohar Chilingaryan, was the director of kindergarten No. 16 in Gyumri.

The information about the minor's suicide has been confirmed by Edgar Janoyan, the deputy head of the information department of the RA police. He stated that the boy, born in 2005, was found hanging in an apartment on Tigran Mets Street. The circumstances are being clarified, and an investigation is underway. Law enforcement officers are currently working at the scene.
