229 Grams of Methamphetamine Found on Citizen Arriving from Turkey
On March 13, utilizing information received by the main department of criminal police, officials from the same department and the customs enforcement unit of the State Revenue Committee subjected a citizen arriving from Turkey at the Bagratashen border checkpoint to a customs inspection.
As a result, approximately 229 grams of methamphetamine, wrapped in two polyethylene bags, were discovered. A criminal case has been initiated by the investigative department of the State Revenue Committee concerning the incident. The citizen has been arrested, and an investigation is underway. This information was reported today by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
