Major Accident in Dilijan: There are Injured

On February 20, at 22:22, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a traffic accident in Dilijan, Tavush region, near the "Karavan" restaurant.

A firefighting and rescue squad from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations dispatched one operational team to the scene. It was determined that two vehicles had collided on the M-4 highway, at the 102nd kilometer of the Yerevan-Ijevan segment: a "Mitsubishi Pajero iO" (driver: Nver B., born 1987) and a "UAZ" (driver: Bakur T., born 1971).

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of the "Mitsubishi Pajero iO", passenger Valodik B. (born 1996), the driver of the "UAZ", and passenger Artak H. (born 1984) were hospitalized at Dilijan Medical Center. Their health conditions were assessed as moderate severity.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicles from power, closed the gas cylinder valve, and secured the area.
