Six Cars Collide in Zovuni, Including Routes 269 and 30

Today, on February 18, a major chain collision occurred in the Kotayk region due to icy road conditions. Around 08:30, vehicles collided on the Yerevan-Eghvard highway, in the administrative area of Zovuni. The involved cars include a Mercedes with license plate 36 TX 722, a Kia with license plate 866 LT 61, a Gazelle servicing route 269 with license plate 1993 L, an Opel with license plate 36 NX 311, a Lada Samara 1600 with license plate 03 OO 070, and a Gazelle servicing route 39 with license plate 1773 T.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the Gazelle servicing route 30 veered off the traffic lane, crashed into rocks, and overturned into an electrical substation.
