DAF Truck Involved in Accident on Yerevan-Sevan Highway
On February 21, a serious traffic accident occurred in the Kotayk Province. Shamshyan.com reports that around 00:20, Gegham Sargsyan, driving a DAF truck with a trailer, lost control of the vehicle on the Yerevan-Sevan highway at the 25 km mark, specifically in the "Chayni" bends, and overturned while heading towards Yerevan.
According to preliminary information, there were no injuries resulting from the accident; however, the road has been partially closed. The vehicle was righted and moved to a safe location using cranes.
Initial reports suggest that one of the causes of the accident could be the adverse weather conditions, mainly fog and poor visibility.
