Erdogan Threatens the U.S. with Sanctions Again
Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has announced that Ankara will take retaliatory measures against possible U.S. sanctions related to the procurement of Russian S-400 defense systems and the "TurkStream" gas pipeline.
Erdogan reiterated that the deal for the S-400 has already been finalized. "Now they say, ‘We will impose sanctions against the 'TurkStream.' This is a violation of our rights in every sense of the word. We will, of course, have our own sanctions against all these factors," he stated.
