The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, posted on his Facebook page to announce that this year the Central Bank of Armenia has purchased foreign currency amounting to 521.8 million dollars.
“I am pleased to inform you that this year the volume of foreign currency assets purchased by the Central Bank of Armenia has reached 521.8 million dollars. This figure indicates a significant inflow of foreign currency into Armenia, which is a brilliant expression of the stability of the financial system, creating new opportunities for business and increasing the accessibility of financial resources.
521.8 million dollars is an unprecedented figure and situation in the history of Armenia,” the Prime Minister specifically noted.
