David Ananyan on the Possible Arrest of Lilit Hovhannisyan
Since there is a criminal case opened, I cannot—nor do I have the right to—either deny or assert anything regarding whom this is about. You mentioned the name of the singer, and I cannot express any opinion on this matter. This was stated today by the head of the State Revenue Committee, David Ananyan, in response to a question regarding what updates exist concerning the criminal case initiated against Lilit Hovhannisyan for failing to declare her income.
Reporters inquired whether it is possible for the singer to be arrested, to which Ananyan responded, "You are trying to extract from me whom this is about. The investigator will consult with the prosecutor during their actions, and if necessary, they will go to court. The court will give sanctions; these are procedures that the investigation will reveal."
