Russia to Send Protest Note to Armenia Over Weapons Tender Failure
Russia will send a protest note to Armenia over the failure of a weapons tender in which the Russian company ORSIS participated. This was reported by "RIA Novosti," citing the relevant document.
In addition, Russia will request Armenian Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan to address the situation.
According to the source, the note is already at the Foreign Ministry and will be dispatched to Armenia. It states that the application for participation by the Russian company was rejected "without substantial grounds," and that ORSIS was unjustly included in the list of "dishonest suppliers".
The note was signed by Deputy Minister of Trade Oleg Ryazantsev on October 22, 2019, and addressed to Davit Tonoyan.
