Severe Car Accident in Aragatsotn Region: Mercedes G-500 Crashes into Rocks and Dives into Power Pole and Gas Pipeline

A severe and tragic car accident occurred today in the Aragatsotn region. Around 16:30, the driver of a Mercedes G-500 lost control at the beginning of the village of Saghmosavan, veering off the roadway, crashing into rocks, and then continuing forward to plunge into a power pole and a gas pipeline.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver and a passenger were transported to the Ashtarak Medical Center following the accident. As traffic police were working at the scene, the hospital reported that one of the injured had not regained consciousness and had died.

The police and investigative department are working to determine the identities of the driver, the deceased, and the injured. Eyewitnesses at the scene claimed that the driver and passenger were returning from a wedding ceremony, traveling in a convoy towards Saghmosavan.
