Gas Leak in Yerevan Leads to Fire with One Casualty
On July 25 at 15:50, the emergency hotline received a report of a fire involving a gas cylinder at the entrance of building number 119 on Andranik Street in Yerevan (10th floor). A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations responded to the scene.
It was determined that the fire was caused by gas leaking from a 3 kg gas cylinder. The resident of the apartment, identified as T.T. (born in 1961), sustained burns and was hospitalized at the Scientific Center of Radiation Medicine and Burns, where he received appropriate medical treatment and was later discharged.
The fire was extinguished by citizens, while rescuers maintained vigilance until the gas cylinder was emptied.
