Video: Customs Employee Discusses Incident That Provoked Prime Minister's Anger

After Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's departure from the customs office, Aravot.am spoke to customs employee Hayk Martirosyan, who explained why the Armenian flag ended up on the ground.

According to him, the flag had been affixed above a door and had come loose. He then mentioned that they had set it aside so it could be reattached.

Earlier, we reported that Prime Minister Pashinyan's visit to the Noragavit customs office began with the dismissal of certain employees. In one of the rooms, employees had placed the flag in a corner, and it had fallen beneath their feet. For this negligence, Pashinyan instructed the head of the State Revenue Committee to dismiss all employees working in that room.
