New Underground Parking for 160 Cars to Be Commissioned
The existing parking lot at Shahnour Square will be replaced by a new underground parking facility designed for 160 cars. This was announced by Gayané Melkomyan, the chair of the legal affairs permanent committee of the Yerevan City Council, on her Facebook page.
“About a month ago, when the City Council decided to stop allocating Shahnour Square as a service parking lot for nearby business centers, some people expressed concerns about where the 60 cars would park now. Well, here it is: this new underground parking facility, intended for 160 vehicles, is located not far from the Northern Avenue-Pushkin section. The markings are currently being completed, and it will soon be put into operation,” the post stated.
