Snowfall on Several Roads in Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of February 8 at 23:00, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed.
The Sotk-Karabakh road is difficult to navigate due to black ice.
Snowfall is reported in the towns of Ashtarak in the Aragatsotn province, Gavar, Sevan in the Gegharkunik province, Charentsavan in Kotayk province, and in Shirak province.
Drivers are advised to use winter tires exclusively.
Regarding the Lars Road:
According to information received from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
