It's Hard, But We've Almost Reached Last Year's Levels: Papoyan on Export Volumes
It's hard, but we've almost reached last year's export volumes. This was stated by Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan on his Facebook page.
"In this way, during the period from January to July 2026, the export volume of agro-food products was $849 million, which is only 1.9% less compared to the same period in 2025 ($865 million). We continue to seek new markets," he wrote.
Let us remind that the EU Council today approved measures for the temporary liberalization of trade in Armenian products, aimed at supporting Armenia's economy after recent trade restrictions imposed by Russia. As a result of these measures, approximately 80% of Armenian exports to the EU will be liberalized.
