“We Will Help Each Other If Necessary”: Zelensky on Relations with Azerbaijan
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for his congratulations on the occasion of Ukraine's 35th independence anniversary.
“Azerbaijan's position regarding Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity has always been steadfast, and for that reason, it has always been highly valued,” Zelensky wrote on his X page.
The Ukrainian President noted that both countries continue to develop economic cooperation and expand ties in the fields of energy and security.
“Together, we continue to develop economic cooperation that has withstood the test of time, opening new horizons in energy and security sectors, and we provide each other with a helping hand if necessary,” he stated.
Zelensky expressed confidence that the friendship, mutual respect, and strategic partnership between Ukraine and Azerbaijan will continue to strengthen.
