Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of the "Hayastan" alliance, stated during a conversation with journalists that Prime Minister Pashinyan is attempting to isolate the opposition. "Today it is Kocharian's family, tomorrow it will be another's," he said.

"In reality, the person who has come to lead the government announced yesterday about the final dismantling of the Third Republic, the surrender of Artsakh, and legitimizing ethnic sentiment, as well as creating a Fourth Republic at the request of Turkey and Azerbaijan. On this path, he openly stated about ceding new territories from Armenia, trying to arrest, isolate, and deprive all opposition hubs, centers of resistance, and political forces that can be obstacles to this program using various articles, employing all possible means to clear the field and implement this anti-Armenian, anti-state program. This should be viewed in that context. Today it is Kocharian's family, tomorrow it will be someone else's family. Any citizen of the Republic of Armenia who has a national mindset should be free," Saghatelyan noted.

Saghatelyan added that this process was not planned overnight; it has been a process. "He complained persistently yesterday that all power structures unconditionally follow his illegal orders—except for the courts, and they need to resolve the issue with those courts," he said.
