Under the Direction of a Neighboring Country's Leader, Our Country's Founding Document Must Be Changed, This is an Insult to Us – Narek Karapetyan

The new five-year program of the Armenian government is a dividing line. This was announced today in the National Assembly by Narek Karapetyan, the head of the "Strong Armenia" faction.

“Compared to the previous 8 years, there is one difference—this government, through its poor foreign policy, has brought about 3 wars. I see this new program of the government differently; if the previous wars were with enemies, then this government is about divisions,” he stated.

Karapetyan noted that this government has sown three divisions: Armenia-Diaspora, Catholicos-believers, present-past regarding the Declaration of Independence of Armenia.

“Under the direction of a neighboring country’s leader, our country’s founding document, the Declaration of Independence of Armenia, must be changed. This is an insult to us; it is unacceptable to completely alter the text of the Declaration of Independence,” Karapetyan emphasized.
