Upcoming Rain and Thunderstorms Expected, Temperature to Drop by 5-7 Degrees

In Yerevan, dry weather is expected on August 25 and 26. However, from the evening of August 27-28 and during the night and afternoon of August 29-30, brief rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in certain areas of the city. During thunderstorms and in the evening, wind gusts are expected to reach 17-20 m/s. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

Across the republic, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in some regions during the evening of August 25 and 26, as well as during the night and afternoon of August 27-30. The wind will blow from the southeast and east at 4-7 m/s, with gusts of 17-20 m/s expected during thunderstorms. The air temperature during the daytime from August 26-30 will gradually decrease by 5-7 degrees.
