“I haven’t forgotten, God forbid, that I said, ‘Artsakh is Armenia and that’s it.’ But in recent years, I have addressed this issue dozens of times,” stated Nikol Pashinyan.

According to him, nearly all political figures of the older and middle generations in Armenia have their political roots in the Nagorno-Karabakh movement, and the unwavering dedication to the idea of seeing Artsakh as part of Armenia has allowed him and his colleagues to “open the curtain” and understand what was behind that movement.

Pashinyan noted that over the 35 years, Armenia has spared no effort for Nagorno-Karabakh, and his government has also allocated significant financial resources. He stated that during their governance, they provided over one billion dollars in additional funding to Artsakh compared to the previous comparable period.

“In the end, we had the courage to open the curtain and see that the Nagorno-Karabakh movement is nothing more than a project to annihilate the statehood and future of Armenia,” Pashinyan declared.
