Lukashenko Sends Congratulations to the People of Ukraine
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has sent a congratulatory message to the people of Ukraine on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Independence Day, expressing hope for the restoration of mutually beneficial cooperation between Minsk and Kyiv.
In the message published on the official website of the Belarusian leader, it is noted that the historical paths of the Belarusian and Ukrainian peoples are closely connected, with both nations united by ancient traditions as well as the shared memories of victories and hardships.
The head of state expressed confidence that, despite geopolitical upheavals, future generations of Belarusians and Ukrainians will preserve their long-standing friendly and kinship ties, and that Minsk and Kyiv will restore mutually beneficial cooperation based on the principles of trust, respect, and equality.
Lukashenko also emphasized that hospitable Belarus is always open to every Ukrainian who comes with good intentions.
