Two Cars Collide on Armavir-Yerevan Road: One Dead
On August 23, at 07:48, the Armavir regional emergency management center received a report of a traffic accident on the Armavir-Yerevan highway. This was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Emergency Situations Department (ESD).
A firefighting crew from the ESD regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that Ford and Opel vehicles collided at the 15th kilometer of the Armavir-Yerevan highway, resulting in the death of a passenger in the Opel on the spot.
Rescuers assisted six victims, guiding them to ambulances, securing the area, disconnecting the vehicles from power, closing the gas valve on the Opel vehicle, and retrieving the deceased passenger, who was then taken to the ambulance.
