Mirziyoev Calls Armenia-Azerbaijan Washington Meeting a ‘Brilliant Victory’ for Aliyev's Personal Diplomacy

The President of Uzbekistan has described the meeting held in Washington and the signing of a Joint Declaration as a victory for Azerbaijani diplomacy. During the third session of the Intergovernmental Council between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoev stated that the historic meeting in Washington last August between the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the United States, as well as the signing of the Joint Declaration, represents a ‘brilliant victory’ for the personal diplomacy of the President of Azerbaijan.

He specifically noted: ‘We assess the historic meeting of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the United States held in Washington last August and the signing of the Joint Declaration as a brilliant victory for your personal diplomacy.’
