Fight Against Criminal Underworld Enters Military Units: Papikyan Issues New Order
The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, has announced a systemic fight against criminal subcultures within the armed forces. This was communicated through a video posted on his Facebook page, alongside a relevant statement.
"Groups of officers formed from structural subdivisions of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff will be dispatched to military units performing duties, in order to support stationed officers and the organization of service in the troops," the minister wrote.
