Completion of Preliminary Investigation into State Treason and Illegal Disclosure of State Secrets

The preliminary investigation of the criminal case regarding Andranik Tevanian and Aregnaz Manukyan has been completed by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

In the Investigative Committee's main department for crimes against the state, constitutional order, and public safety, an investigation is underway into allegations of state treason, illegal acquisition, and publication of state secret information by A.T., a political figure who supported the ‘Armenia’ bloc during the 2021 elections and was elected as a member of parliament through this bloc's list. Additionally, the case involves A.M., a former member of parliament, concerning the public disclosure of state secret data.

The case against Andranik Tevanian and Aregnaz Manukyan has been forwarded to the supervising prosecutor with accusatory conclusions.
