Interagency Working Group Established for Death Cases in Armed Forces
By the decision of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, an interagency working group will be established to develop systemic solutions regarding suicides and non-statutory relations in the Armed Forces. The relevant decision has been published on the e-gov.am website.
According to the decision, the working group is tasked with preparing and presenting appropriate proposals to the Prime Minister within a three-month period.
The group will be headed by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and will consist of 11 members, including the Ministers of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, Healthcare, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Deputy Ministers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, National Security Service, Office of the Prosecutor General, and Investigative Committee, as well as the head of the Security Council staff and the head of the Military Police.
