Tiknizyan Refuses Move to Zenit St. Petersburg
Naïr Tiknizyan, defender for the Armenian national team and Serbian club Crvena Zvezda, has declined a transfer to Zenit St. Petersburg, opting instead for Greek club Olympiacos.
According to Gazzetta and other sports sources, the transfer fee is set at €7 million. Despite the more favorable financial terms offered by the Russian club, the 27-year-old footballer has decided to continue his career in Europe.
Negotiations between the clubs have already reached their final stages, and the defender is expected to travel to Greece soon.
The transfer process intensified after the Serbian club was eliminated from the Champions League qualifying rounds. Tiknizyan joined Crvena Zvezda in the summer of 2025 from Moscow’s Lokomotiv.
