Car Accident in Vayots Dzor: Rescuers Extricate Trapped Citizen
On August 15, at 04:49, the Vayots Dzor regional operational management center received a report about a traffic accident on the Yeghegnadzor-Vayk highway, necessitating the assistance of rescuers.
A firefighting-rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a Chevrolet vehicle had veered off the roadway at the 117th km of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, approximately 5 meters, landing in the vicinity of a nearby restaurant complex.
The rescuers cordoned off the area, closed the gas cylinder valve, extricated the driver from the vehicle, and brought him close to the ambulance. The injured individual was hospitalized.
