114 People Killed and Over 3,000 Injured in Traffic Accidents in 6 Months
In Armenia, from January to June of this year, there have been 2,151 road traffic accidents, resulting in 114 fatalities and 3,127 injuries. According to official figures published by the National Statistical Committee, among the deceased were 23 women and 7 children. Among the injured, 409 were children.
The highest number of traffic accidents occurred in Yerevan with 847 cases, while the least were recorded in Vayots Dzor with 35 cases.
